The lnterstate University of Applied Science Buchs (NTB) is a part of the University of Applied Sciences of Eastern Switzerland (FHO). The University has about 220 employees, therein the Institute for Production Metrology, Materials and Optics (PWO) which offers applied research and development within the framework of the on-campus technology and knowledge transfer with 20 professors, scientists and technicians.
The Institute PWO carries out development and research projects in cooperation with industry in the fields of production metrology, machine vision, materials and optics. The institute offers an extensive education program for industry customers thereby using new learning methods successfully for not only but also for vocational training.
